Rita’s repertoire also includes Lieder, chamber music and oratorios: Stabat Mater (Dvorak/ Pergolesi/ Rossini/ Vivaldi), Requiem (Mozart/ Verdi), Te Deum (Bruckner), Missa Solemnis and IX Symphonie (Beethoven), Messiah (Handel), Christus (Liszt), Elijas (Mendelssohn), Le Déluge (Saint – Saens), Gailestingumo altorius (Martinaitis), Stabat Mater (Szymanowski), Missa in tempore belli (Haydn), Magnificat (Bach ) etc.
She frequently enjoys being in concerts and festivals in Lithuania, Austria, Germany, England, Italy, France and Belgium.
She sang mezzo soprano on CDs of Gloria (Vivaldi), Requiem (Mozart), Missa Solemnis (Beethoven) and Fatinitza (von Suppe). She has also recorded solo CDs Christmas Carols, November Dreams, and an opera arias album Nel Contrasto and K.Burstein`s Song cycle for Mezzo – soprano und Symphony Orchestra “Songs of Love and Solitude”(NAXOS).
Her recordings are frequently played on national radio both in Lithuania and in Austria.
2005-2011 Rita Novikaite taught at the Art and Music University of Graz; 2007-2015 she is associate professor at the Prayner Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Arts in Vienna; From 2011 – associate professor at the Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas; Rita is jury member in many international singing competition; Gives singing-master classes.
