He graduated and got his M.A. at the Faculty of Musical Arts in Belgrade, in the class of the same professor.<\/p>\n<p>\nDuring his school days he won numerous awards in state and country competitions. He won third prize on the 23rd Annual Competition of Young Yugoslav Artist in Zagreb and second prize at the competition of the Federation of Paris Conservatories in 1989. He went to H. Berlioz Conservatory as a scholar of the Foundation for Scientific and Artistic Youth of Serbia.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe has held over 50 recitals so far, some in Belgrade and Serbia, some in France and Spain. He performed as a solo artist with the Symphonic Orchestra of Ni\u0161, the Military Symphonic Orchestra and Serbian Radio Television Symphonic Orchestra. He has made sound recordings for Radio Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe started teaching in 1987 as a professor in secondary music school &#171;Jovan Bandur&#187; in Pan\u010devo, and since 1993 in music school &#171;\u017divorad Grbi\u0107&#187; in Valjevo, and music school &#171;Josip Slavenski&#187; in Belgrade. During his undergraduate studies he was a demonstrator in the class of Professor Tahir Kulenovi\u0107. In 1997 he was elected Assistant for the flute at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade. He was re-elected for the same position in 2001, and in 2003 he was elected Docent for the flute at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p>\nHis students have won over 100 awards in festivals, state, country and international competitions. He was awarded several times for his outstanding pedagogical results, once by the Union of Associations of Music and Ballet Pedagogues of Serbia for his pedagogical results over the years, awarded to him as the youngest professor since the award has been established.<\/p>\n<p>\n14 students have graduated so far in the class of docent Miomir Simonovi\u0107, some of whom continued their studies abroad, and many of them working in music schools or play in orchestras such as: Belgrade Opera Orchestra or &#171;Madlenijanum&#187; Chamber Opera 1965. u Leskovcu, gde je zavr\u0161io osnovnu i srednju muzi\u010dku \u0161kolu u klasi prof. Tahira Kulenovi\u0107a. Diplomirao je i magistrirao na FMU u Beogradu, u klasi istog profesora.<\/p>\n<p>\nU toku \u0161kolovanja osvojio je brojne nagrade na republi\u010dkim i saveznim takmi\u010denjima, na 23. Jugoslovenskom takmi\u010denju muzi\u010dkih umetnika u Zagrebu osvojio je tre\u0107u nagradu, dobitnik je druge nagrade na konkursu Federacije konzervatorijuma iz grada Pariza 1989. Boravio je na konzervatorijumu &#171;H. Berlioz&#187; kao stipendista Fondacije za nau\u010dni i umetni\u010dki podmladak Srbije.<\/p>\n<p>\nDo sada je odr\u017eao preko 50 resitala, kako u Beogradu, tako i u mnogim gradovima Srbije, u Francuskoj i \u0160paniji. Nastupao je kao solista sa Ni\u0161kim simfonijskim orkestrom, Simfonijskim orkestrom VJ, Simfonijskim orkestrom RTS-a. Ostvaruje trajne snimke za Radio Beograd.<\/p>\n<p>\nPedago\u0161kim radom po\u010deo je da se bavi 1987. godine kao profesor u SM\u0160 &#171;Jovan Bandur&#187; u Pan\u010devu, a od 1993. u M\u0160 &#171;\u017divorad Grbi\u0107&#187; u Valjevu, odnosno u M\u0160 &#171;Josip Slavenski&#187; u Beogradu. Za vreme diplomskih studija bio je demonstrator u klasi prof. Tahira Kulenovi\u0107a, 1997. godine izabran je u zvanje asistenta za predmet flauta na FMU u Beogradu. Reizabran je u isto zvanje 2001, a 2003. izabran je u zvanje docenta za predmet flauta na FMU u Beogradu.<\/p>\n<p>\nU\u010destvuju\u0107i na festivalima, republi\u010dkim, saveznim i me\u0111unarodnim takmi\u010denjima, njegovi u\u010denici i studenti osvojili su preko 100 nagrada. Za izuzetne pedago\u0161ke rezultate bio je nagra\u0111ivan vi\u0161e puta, a izdvaja se nagrada Saveza dru\u0161tava muzi\u010dkih i baletskih pedagoga Srbije za vi\u0161egodi\u0161nje pedago\u0161ke rezultate koja mu je dodeljena kao najmla\u0111em dobitniku od kada je ustanovljena.<\/p>\n<p>\nU klasi docenta Miomira Simonovi\u0107a do sada je diplomiralo 14 studenata, od kojih su neki nastavili studije u inostranstvu, a mnogi rade u muzi\u010dkim \u0161kolama ili sviraju u orkestrima kao \u0161to su: Orkestar Beogradske Opere, Orkestar Kamerne Opere &#171;Madlenijanum&#187;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faculty of Music &nbsp; MIOMIR SIMONOVIC was born on 28\/10\/1965 in Leskovac, where he finished primary and secondary music school in the class of Professor Tahir Kulenovi\u0107.
