Applications are accepted 365 days a year. The competitor selects one of three editions and sends an application.<\/span><\/p>\n SPRING EDITION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Acceptance of applications until April 01. Announcement of results on April 15.\u00a0<\/p>\n SUMMER EDITION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Applications are accepted until June 10. Announcement of results on June 25.\u00a0<\/p>\n WINTER EDITION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Application deadline is December 10. Announcement of the results on December 25.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n PROGRAM<\/strong><\/p>\n The competition program includes two (preferably diverse) compositions of the participant’s choice. Program is to be performed by heart and completely (soloist). <\/span>Duos ensembles and orchestra are not obligated to perform compositions by heart. <\/span>It is allowed to perform parts (sonata, suite, concert, symphony\u2026) as two pieces.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n PARTICIPANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n Right to participate is given to all competitors from all the countries in the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n SOLOISTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n JUNIOR<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n MIDDLE JUNIOR<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n JUNIOR\u00a0 ARTIST<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n SENIOR ACADEMIC<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n SENIOR ARTIST<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n JUNIOR and <\/strong>SENIOR <\/strong>Vari\u00e9t\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n Free program, which includes 2 compositions with different styles and tempers.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n DUO (two similar or two different instruments)<\/strong><\/p>\n Participants perform without concertmaster, ensemble or orchestra.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n DIATONIC ACCORDION<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n STUDENT \u2013 TEACHER<\/strong><\/p>\n In the category \u201cStudent \u2013 teacher\u201d the age group is determined by the age of the student.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ENSEMBLE (of 3-15 members)<\/strong><\/p>\n The ensemble must contain at least 50% of homogeneous instruments of this nomination. Ensemble can perform with only one accompanist and\/or one illustrator.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ACCORDION ORCHESTRA<\/strong><\/p>\n Orchestras can perform with illustrators and\/or concertmasters (no more than three). Orchestras will compete in categories according to the age, and they are not obligated to perform compositions by heart.<\/p>\n JUNIOR ARTIST<\/strong><\/p>\n SENIOR ARTIST<\/strong><\/p>\n Age category (duo, ensemble, orchestra) is defined by average age of all participants, without illustrator (concertmaster).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n VIDEO REQUIREMENTS & VERIFICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n The recording must be a single continuous shot without any editing, pausing, or cuts. On the recording, performer(s), must be clearly seen (soloist, duo, ensemble, orchestra, conductor, accompanist).<\/p>\n Option 1: Oral Identification<\/strong><\/p>\n – Soloist or duo must state their first name, surname, year of birth, and the name of the competition.<\/p>\n – One of the member of ensemble or conductor says the name of ensemble (orchestra), their age category, and the name of the competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n *The participant (soloist) can say the name of the competition and only WORLD OPEN (but in this case only participant in younger categories). Participants in the oldest category do not have to say their year of birth.<\/p>\n Option 2: Visual Identification (Poster)<\/strong><\/p>\n If a poster is displayed, an oral presentation is not required (soloist).<\/p>\n – First and Last Name (in English block letters), Year of Birth, Name of the competition (WORLD OPEN MUSIC COMPETITION)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Recording must be sent in Mp4 format. Jury members are to be elected out of renowned music pedagogues, as well as performing artists, conductors and chamber musicians. Contestants are ranked according to the average score awarded by the Jury. All jury members are pedagogues and are performing \u00a0on the instrument they are evaluating 100% and have extensive pedagogical experience in working with students!<\/span><\/p>\n Competitors are qualified according to the average grade point of evaluations by the Jury.
