RULES FOR PARTICIPANTS IN \u00abPOP – JAZZ SINGING\u00bb NOMINATION 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n General terms<\/strong><\/p>\n 1.1. Competition takes place entirely over the Internet.<\/p>\n 1.2. European Association of Music Educators and Performers & Producer Agency MIR Production (hereinafter refer to as organizer), organizes WORLD OPEN Online Music Competition (hereinafter refer to as competition).<\/p>\n 1.3. Competition in order to support young talents in the field of popular music (Pop, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Folk, Punks, World music\u2026), encouraging the spirit of international competitions for young performers.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Jury<\/strong><\/p>\n 2.1. Organizer of competition forms a membership in the jury and determine the terms and procedure of the Competition.<\/p>\n 2.2. Membership and distribution of Jury members of competition disciplines and categories will be selected by competent commission and confirmed by Organizing Committee.<\/p>\n 2.3. International jury members are elected out of authority experts in the fields of music, teaching, vocal arts. All jury members are pedagogues and are performing \u00a0on the instrument they are evaluating 100% and have extensive pedagogical experience in working with students!<\/p>\n 2.4. Work of the Jury is regulated by special Rules. All Jury decisions are final and irrevocable.<\/p>\n 2.5. Criteria of evaluation: musicality, purity of intonation, beauty and power of voice timbre, scenic culture, complexity of the repertoire, performing repertoire matching capabilities and age category of performer, performing skills.<\/p>\n 2.6. Competitors are qualified according to the average grade point of evaluations by the Jury. Number of awards (prizes) is not limited.<\/p>\n GOLD AWARD<\/strong>\/\u00a0LAUREATE FIRST PRIZE<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 is to be awarded to the competitor who wins 90 \u2013 100 points.<\/p>\n Participant\u2019s performance level:<\/strong><\/p>\n Performance level: GRANDE PERFORMER <\/strong>(99 – 100),<\/p>\n Performance level: CONCERT PERFORMER<\/strong> (96 – 98,99),<\/p>\n Performance level: VIRTUOSO PERFORMER<\/strong> (93 – 95,99),<\/p>\n Performance level: EXCELLENT PERFORMER<\/strong> (90 – 92,99).<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n SILVER AWARD<\/strong>\/ LAUREATE SECOND PRIZE\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 is to be awarded to the competitor who wins 80 \u2013 89,99 points.<\/p>\n Performance level:\u00a0EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMER<\/strong> (85 \u2013 89,99),<\/p>\n Performance level:\u00a0PROMISING PERFORMER<\/strong> (80 \u2013 84,99).<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n BRONZE AWARD\/ LAUREATE THIRD PRIZE\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 is to be awarded to the competitor who wins 70 \u2013 79,99 points.<\/p>\n Performance level:\u00a0PERSPECTIVE PERFORMER<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n DIPLOMA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 is to be awarded to the competitor who wins 65 \u2013 69,99 points.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2.7. Competitor (soloist, duo, ensemble), who won first prize, with the best placement in competition discipline will be awarded with Diploma Absolute Winner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n 2.8. In case if several competitors-soloists in the category have same number of points, advantage will be given to younger competitor.<\/p>\n In case if several competitors in the different categories (soloist, duo, ensemble) have same number of points, final decision on the placement will be brought by the Jury.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Contestants<\/strong><\/p>\n 3.1. Contestants from all over the world are invited to participate. Contestants compete in age categories.<\/p>\n 3.2. The competition program includes two songs by participant\u2019s choice and run by heart (at least two couplets).<\/p>\n 3.3. Duration of video recording is up to 9 minutes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n VOCAL SOLOIST<\/strong><\/p>\n JUNIOR<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n MIDDLE JUNIOR<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n JUNIOR\u00a0 ARTIST<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n SENIOR ACADEMIC<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n SENIOR ARTIST<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n VOCAL DUO\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n AUTHOR\u2019S SONG<\/strong><\/p>\n The participant performs at least one author’s song, and another song of his choice.<\/p>\n Soloist:<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3.4. Contestants (soloist, duo and author\u2019s song) have several options to perform their competition program:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n VOCAL ENSEMBLES<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3.5. In the vocal ensemble can participate from 3 to 15 contestants.<\/p>\n 3.6. Vocal Ensembles have several options to perform their competition program:<\/p>\n \u0441)\u00a0 Singing both songs accompanied by a recorded instrumental track (playback)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n VOCAL AND INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLES<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3.7. In the vocal instrumental ensemble can participate from 3 to 15 contestants and at least one of them is a singer.<\/p>\n 3.8. Singing both songs with instrumental accompaniment without any recorded instrumental track (playback), back-vocal, and any kinds of vocal and instrumental imitation of the human voice.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n VIDEO REQUIREMENTS & VERIFICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n The recording must be a single continuous shot without any editing, pausing, or cuts. On the recording, performer(s), must be clearly seen (soloist, duo, ensemble).<\/p>\n Option 1: Oral Identification<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 Soloist or duo must state their first name, surname, year of birth, and the name of the competition (WORLD OPEN MUSIC COMPETITION).<\/p>\n *The participant (soloist) can say the name of the competition and only WORLD OPEN (but in this case only participant in younger categories). Participants in the oldest category do not have to say their year of birth.<\/p>\n \u2013 One of the member of ensemble says the name of ensemble, their age category, and the name of the competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Option 2: Visual Identification (Poster)<\/strong><\/p>\n If a poster is displayed, an oral presentation is not required (soloist).<\/p>\n \u2013 First and Last Name (in English block letters), Year of Birth, Name of the competition (WORLD OPEN MUSIC COMPETITION)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Recording must be sent in Mp4 format. Words and\/or performance of song should not harm the reputation of the competition.<\/p>\n 8.2. In the course of the competition video recording are not permitted texts, replica, gestures of a political or similar nature.<\/p>\n 8.3. Avoid rough or obscene words in texts or in the course of the song.<\/p>\n 8.4. There shall be no commercial information.<\/p>\n 8.5. Violation of this rule may result in disqualification.<\/p>\n 8.6.
