Mark\u00e9ta La\u0161tovi\u010dkov\u00e1<\/a> was born in 1995 in Havl\u00ed\u010dk\u016fv Brod and began studying the accordion at the age of 5 with her mother Ivana La\u0161tovi\u010dkov\u00e1. She studied at the Prague Conservatory with Professor Ladislav Hor\u00e1k (2011-2017), at the Danish National Academy of Music in Odense with Professor Jytte von R\u00fcden (2017-2022) and since 2022 she studies a doctoral program at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava with Professor Boris Lenko.<\/p>\nMark\u00e9ta is a winner of many national and international competitions (Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Italy, Russia, Portugal, Germany, Serbia).<\/p>\n
Her biggest success is the solo recital at the Prague Spring International Festival (the first accordion recital in the history of this famous festival).<\/p>\n
As a soloist she performed in many world countries, cooperated with various chamber and symphony orchestras.<\/p>\n
Mark\u00e9ta is often invited as a member of the jury to various national and international competitions. She is a teacher at the music school in Havl\u00ed\u010dk\u016fv Brod (Czech Republic) and works as an assistant teacher at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.<\/p>\n
She published 4 books “Simply Happy” with her compositions for accordion. Her works are played in many European countries.<\/p>\n
