17th WORLD OPEN MUSIC COMPETITION 2026

The competition is held annually. Applications are accepted 365 days a year. The competitors selects one (or more) of three editions and sends an application. Participants playing instruments may perform as soloists or as part of ensembles.

SPRING EDITION

GROUP I

Deadline for Applications: March 15 / Announcement of Results: April 01

• Keyboard & Ensembles: Piano, Piano Ensemble, Chamber Ensemble.
• Winds & Brass: Flute, Bassoon, Clarinet, Oboe, Saxophone, Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba, French Horn.
• Vocals: Classical, Folk, and Pop-Jazz Singing.
• Others: Percussion, Orchestra, Choir, Duo (two different instruments).

Deadline for Applications: April 01 / Announcement of Results: April 15

• Strings & Harp: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Harp.
• Plucked & Traditional: Guitar, Accordion.
• World Music: Traditional music (Domra, Balalaika, Cymbals, Bandura, Chinese instruments, etc.).

GROUP I
