I would like, to write a few words about what has been happening in my life and how I have used my award.
In 2025, I took part in the National Competition “Musical Talents 2025” in Poznań, where I was awarded second prize. In recognition of my achievements, I also received an award from the City of Poznań.
After that, I devoted myself entirely to preparing a new and demanding repertoire for my final diploma exam at the music high school, which I am now completing. I performed my exam at the end of March with great success, receiving the highest possible score of 25 points. Last week, I also passed my ear training exam with very good results.
In May, I will still be taking my final secondary school exams (matura) in general education subjects.
Preparing the new repertoire for my diploma exam took many months, which meant I was unable to participate in major competitions, concerts, or travel for such purposes. Instead, I focused on intensive work on my repertoire and gave smaller performances in my hometown of Poznań.
I invested the prize money I received in a my bow and in a thorough restoration of my violin, which required significant repairs. This undoubtedly contributed to a much better performance during my diploma exam.
On April 24, there will be the official graduation ceremony, the presentation of diplomas, and a concert of the best students, in which I will be performing.
Starting in October, I will continue my education at the university in Poznań.
