The performance brings to life a collection of traditional rhythmic patterns and structures passed down through Sri Lanka’s historic oral traditions. Executed in an authentic style completely from memory (by heart), the piece highlights the unique tonal identity, intricate stick techniques, and energetic expressions central to Sri Lankan folk percussion heritage.
